Join us for a vibrant celebration of Ukrainian culture at our annual Pysanky Easter Egg Decorating Workshop, presented by the Ukrainian Arts T.O team. Discover or rediscover the beautiful art and tradition of making pysanky, and experience the joy of creating your very own Ukrainian Easter egg masterpiece!
Pysanky, decorated using beeswax and dyes, date back to ancient times and symbolize the rebirth of the earth in spring. In Ukraine, each region embeds its unique customs and symbols in the design of the eggs, making Easter egg decorating an important art form. For many families, creating pysanky is a cherished tradition that brings loved ones together each Easter.
You don't need to be Ukrainian or an artist to join us! Our workshop is suitable for ages 6 and up, and we welcome all skill levels. Participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult, and all participants (including accompanying adults) must register.
